| Detail Description: | Moreover, overexpressed miR-1188 promoted apoptosis, enhanced caspase-3 activity, and also upregulated the expression of Bax and p53. MiR-1188 directly targeted and negatively regulated Bcl-2 and Sp1. Silencing of Bcl-2 and Sp1 exactly copied the proapoptotic and anti-invasive effect of miR-1188, respectively. Meanwhile, the expression of apoptosis and invasion-related genes such as Vegfa, Fgfr1, and Rprd1b was decreased following enhancement of miR-1188, as determined by gene expression profiling analysis. |
